Growth from Lies
A lover sees their lover in a different light,
Sometimes its one of pleasure and pure delight.
But what seems to make it hard to develop trust,
To fear a lie without truth, in anger its a must.
A lover asking for more than one can give,
Money, love, passion, safety and an emotionally rich life to live.
A hearts enduring faith for deception just motivates it to fail,
Their lovers face cold and sudden, their betrayal is hard to tell.
They stare into your eyes while partaking in each secret of lies,
The love you felt was enough, you restrained any encouragement for tries.
Like dewdrops cascaded atop flower petals after summer rain,
You seek nothing more than to scorch your unbarring heartache within therapeutic flames.
You've became a fallen angel in their eyes, one that strives and goes through hell,
Wiping away your bleeding mascara, every time they've watched you fail.
With broken wings, and knowing they weren't worth all your tears,
Seeing your faith taken, and traces imprinted in your fears.
Perpetually your souls slowly diminishing from within,
The newly found poison of pain becomes your newly found friend.
Always by their side no matter what lies were told,
Now that they've found an unfamiliar essence to conquer, your the one they scold.
Beauty beyond your years, escape from this prison where you hide,
Forget about the torment that once was, forget about whats now behind.
Seek the happiness from within, because your the treasure yet to be found,
Stray away from the selfish and greed, and by their deeds you won't be bound.
An Angel who's wings have now began to mend,
The surface of her smile, and sugar-coated compliment.
Like dead leaves under a white winter snow,
During spring she'll blossom, then continue to grow.
