The Growth of .... YOU

To sneak down the stairs to check for an empty plate of cookies

To run to the playground and come inside to take a nap

To even do simple problems like two times three, would be like a dream come true. To a certain extent, right?

Now, there are no more cookies. Nap time is no more, and they have even started teaching me something called Pre-Calculus. That is absolutely absurd?  But for real. Everyday we grow older, and sometimes we do not even know we are growing.

To look at your reflection in the mirror and know that you are beautiful despite what others say

To focus on your own well-being and your own happiness

To see a change in yourself, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally is when the realization hits.

You are growing. You are glowing. You are you.
