Guadalupe

If only you could see,My favorite place to be.A place where I can rest Is nature at it’s best. The water ripples near So loud it's all you hear.A secret place to be, A spot made just for me. In shallow waters still,To touch would send a chill.A shaded spot to sit,Water surrounds sunlit. A perch where I can be Made by roots of a tree.Far off children will play,But here is where I’ll stay. A spot where I can pray And talk to God all day. It’s here where I am still, Everything else is nil.  Surrounded by beauty It's here I find my glee.If only you could see,My favorite place to be.
