The Guardian
Creatures of four limbs in a velvety sky
They gaze upon me, circle around me,
Cushion behind me
In a place called Evil Eye
They take turns with utter calm and stillness
Watch my ribcage rise as my spirit dances
In the midst of a peaceful sleep
In oblivion where hidden gifts are kept
Needless to say they're mute
As they exchange glances
In a spindle paddle boat
They tug, row to anchor
Like a six limbed divine creature
