Guardian Angel
You held me in 1994 for the first time
Since then you fed me. clothed me.
And a life full of love and joy
Taught me how to be wiser
Showed me how to shine my brightest
Gave me the world
Now the world wants you
Time for me to give back
The smile on your face keeps me away from the pain you were in
I know it helped you when we both laughed
Saw you slowly fade away.
Never sure when it would end
Broke down when you finally died.
Forever in my memory
Your love lives on forever
Your courage passed down to me
I am your child.
You live on in me.
Church bells ring
I know your watching me
Up in heaven
As my guardian Angel
