Guardian of Curiosity

My teacher is a guardian of curiosity,

Planting the seeds of knowledge,

But imbuing a desire to learn more,

Enlightening students in the marvels of the world.

My teacher is the crafter of the cloth of compassion,

Weaving the weft of tenderness through the warp of morality,

Combining the colors of tolerance and tact,

Enriching the horizons of a pupil’s perspective.

And my teacher is the lighthouse in a tempest,

Guiding her students to shore,

Listening and offering advice,

Sacrificing her present for the future of society.
