Guarding My Heart

So full of love and no one to share it with. Believing that this love thing is all myth.

Every time you open yourself you are the one left to conquer the down fall.

The despair is so great faith slips away and makes you say "I dont care." Silently you live in despair.

Hoping someday one will come to spare u of that pain.

The feeling of giving it all and having misery ends up being the only call.

You give up and wanna run from the emotion. So you freeze you heart like the artic ocean.

The hell with love and relationships. The hurt is not worth it and it too much for me to take.

Still u hold on and do not forsake. Finding out Not letting go is why your heart breaks.

So you vow to become so cold that nothing will seep in.

Fuck it i will just live in sin. At least with that what is expected is known. Then there will be no need to ever let anyone in. U dont have to feel the groan of what is truly

missing.

There will be no more pain cuz the wall will be so high no one will have the curiousity to see what is behind.

Then u will be protected and never be rejected again.

Safe u will be but alone you will stay.

You convince yourself it is better this way.
