Guardo a il cielo

Guardo a il cielo I look at the sky It’s like seeing into my future, watching my life pass me by É nuvoloso e c’é molto vento The clouds move across the bright blue expanse like fish in the water The wind pushes them across my field of vision and I see the things I am Sono una nipote euna bambina e una sorella e una figlia I am so many things, a grandchild and a child, a sister and a daughter A cousin and a student and a teacher and a friend Guardo la tempesta I see the storm coming, the battle for my future that’s about to be held Sono confuso e preoccupato I’m confused and worried What will I become? Everything I have done has led to this decision Everyday has led up to this one My future is in the palm of my hands Pero sono desideroso e pronto I feel a thousand things, tens of thousands of things I’m nervous and worried and scared to death But I can feel that I am becoming who I am meant to become And I am excited and ready Sono molto pronto I am ready.
