Guided Journey Through Myself

Look at me.

Now.  LOOK AT ME!

What do you see?

Blue eyes, brown hair, freckles?

My, you are observant.

Take a deeper look, please.

Pay no attention to the smile or to the scowl or to whatever mask I am wearing today.

Do not be deterred by the jokes that I use as a defense mechanism.

There, you have made it!  Welcome to my soul.

To the left you will see all the pain that I have gone through.  Do my tears make sense now?

Ah!  On the right you can peruse my emotions about everything.  Yes, that it why I argue.

Listen to my mind as it provides a voice-over.

This person will help you, wants to know everything, loves to observe, is scared, needs help, wants a dog, loves God, needs to travel, is indecisive, is a little like you...

What?  I'm a little like you?

Yes, I'm a little like you, but I'm a whole lot like me.

Believe it or not, I'm not just a teenager with my hands on my hips and my lips stuck out.

That's just influence.

I know that this is a lot to take in, so feel free to come back again.

Just remember that these are the building blocks of my personality.

Thank you.
