Poetry has been a guide for me

A guide in medatation

In thought

In understanding what surrounds me

Nothing has ever calmed my soul

And released my held breath

With as much ease

As poetry

As words flowing over a page

Ink scratching the surface

A pouring of my feelings

Hopes 

Dreams

Poetyr has taught me to believe

To feel
