The Guiding Hand
The Guiding Hand
By: Savannah Thornton
My teacher opened up my mind
to many things I could not find.
She gave me a cup of knowledge
that I used to quench my thirst,
but all the while, wanting more.
She took me by the hand
and led me to what I demand.
Had she not guided my hand
and shown me the way,
I wouldn't know where I am today.
