A Guiding Spirit

A fire starts with a spark of life,
looking at it blazing so bright.
The flame soon grows big and strong,
soon it won't be there for long.
With the burning and turning,
raising up to the dark night sky.
watching the embers begin to fly.
Colorful as it may seem but holds a secret
for us to redeem.
It looks to be an essance glow,
like a spirit that flows with the way the wind blows.
Staring at you I can see that your not so
different from me.
We both glow with our great dignity.
But there is only one thing different from you and me.
I'm a spirit and you are my guide,
Take me now to the heavens tonight.
