Guilt

The beating of a heartbeat

thud, thud

The rising of the chest

One, two

The little voice in my head gets louder

You did it, you did it

My breathing gets heavier and only I notice ,

You did it , you did it,

I have to get out of here

I can’t take it anymore

The voice gets louder,

You did it, you did it,

It only stops

when the truth is told.
