Guiltless Sinner
From death I rose.
From the ashes I come
I will tell thee of my spiral into insanity
Letting the burning sin of the one I loved crush any humanity I preserved
Time slipping by losing myself in it all
Falling deeper and deeper and deeper
The pages of my story have yet to begin
Keeping quiet for I have just arrived
Gazing upon yonder scaffold
I lay my eyes upon the sins of mine matrimony
Only for but a second our eyes intertwine
I praley ask the man who stood next to me
‘I pray you, good Sir,’ said he, ‘who is this woman? —and wherefore is she here set up to public shame?’
Townsman response, ‘else you would surely have heard of Mistress Hester Prynne and her evil doings. She hath raised a great scandal, I promise you, in godly Master Dimmesdale’s church. ‘
From the shock came something much deeper
A sinister presence over my shoulders now consumed my rationale
Almost as if the devil himself personally saw
The bearing of the fruit that is vengeance
Fast forward to midpoint
Tending to the sinful sinner
The guilt and the pain,
How I enjoyed the knowledge of his sin
Crept into his soul, leaching of his guilt
Witnessing the scarlet that blanketed his chest
Just as he left in the night
The sin of three upon yonder scaffold
Vengeance over the criminals
I danced the evil of the devil
The the attempt of leave, I partake in the ride over the ocean of sinners
Pause, the end of this story
Hello to the man, child, and woman before me
I wish to tell you thine tale of darkness past
The secrets I’ve known for all these years
I will tell you the truth of my vengeance
Just listen to me to relay your sorrow
Becoming one with the darkness behind me
These people tried to make sense of my life
Molded by the growth of obsession
Burned by the anger of jealousy
The man and woman with scarlet laying upon their breast
Redemption left my hands
The will of living no more
Smalll elfish child Little pearl little pearl
I give you all I have to atone my obsession
But your parents I will forever despise
My obsession consumed me
The devil himself claimed my soul
Spiral into insanity
Riddle me this now knowing of my tale
Such youth i loathe you
Do you still think I am a guiltless sinner
