Guitar

You strum that guitar

To the beat of my heart.

The melody rolls over me…

Wave

After

Wave.

Each strum is like

The flutter of a bird’s wings

And

The beating of my heart.

Your guitar

Is my home,

My soul,

My everything…

You

Are my everything.

Your guitar,

Is my lifeline

And you

You are my home…
