Guitar Strings

They say love isn't a game.

If not then what is it?

I look into the eyes of my lover,

Nothing.

I feel my lovers heart race.

It beats to the melody of lies.

My lover,

Oh how I'm played.

I fall for his rhythm.

I am played,

Over and over again.

A never ending song,

Thanks to the guitar strings.
