A Gun's Debate

the gunshot ricochets off the bedroom walls.

Blood splatter and wails of fear

the horrifying reality of what has occurred has yet to set in,

An empty hall inside the school

all is silent for the one that moves.

Classes huddled fear

The reality has yet to occur.

When politicians will debate,

another kid will have sealed their fate.

when a gun is shot what is done, is done

So many say they wish for change,

But the silence still remains.

America has seen the damage that can be done

when anyone can be lost, especially a loved one.

So before another politician debate

maybe the people should remember this fate

The ringing ears, blood splattered walls, and crys for help

Change needs to occur for,

loved ones who left the world too soon.
