Gut Feeling

First day, gut feeling you would ask me for my number.

No hesitation, "lets get close"

Got close, it was all so sweet

Concerts and fast cars, knowing I cant drive yet.

Acting as what we should be.

Acting how people in love are supposed to act.

Didnt even say we loved each other.

Never ever did.

Wanted too, but couldnt by the trials you put me through.

The hangouts and the makeouts bound us together but did we even want to be with each other?

Questions that I avoided but had to confront.

Back porch conversations where you cried for hours.

One week later from the day you first showed your heart

You broke up with me over text message.

Too much on your plate, I guess I was just a distraction.

School started and summer ended.

We were summer, warm and hot like the sun.

Sweaty but cool.

But summer ended.

Like my pictures on instagram and follow me throughout

Hit me up in 6 months, I dont know what I will do

My friends poke fun at the way I still miss you

Treated me like shit in the end but I liked the beginning

Last day gut feeling, I knew you would break up with me.
