that guy
my little brother is becoming that guy
that I dated in high school
the one that loved me until the next
pretty girl came along
the boy that called me beautiful
in the same breath he used to
tell the other girl he loved her
the guy that still haunts me to this
day not caring or even hurting
the one that dropped me as
without as much as a second thought
the one that has changed the way
I look at every other relationship
I am watching my little brother become
the boy your parents warn you about
the reason your parents
don’t want you to date until you’re 40
I am watching my little brother become
everything that is wrong with this generation
and there is nothing I can do
to stop it
