The GZA

Name a word in the dictionary that don't describe me

Consistent contradiction, abiotic life is more likely

The day I leave, arriving like a reeve

Hidden one in high profile, observant as a chief

Remember to breathe and ignore the waste

History at its base, but also in the making

Boots quaking, few notice the ruse they're playing

Home to those that came before, the world is yours

Never heard of lies spoken so confidently out of one's core

Telling comforting fabrications rather than enforcing the truth

Do they still not see the enslavement of the youth?

Deception, justice, lack of independence, it's reprehensive

Direct descendents and ancestors more alike than we're all pretending

Maybe now that I lightened up the mood, and wounds are soothed

More people are out there thinking, though internally bruised

Just keep that mental view high and get you some soul food
