H. curare
A truth that should not be
shadows the blue skies
of a seemingly
isolated utopia
Distance and action
do not couple well, they say
But indifference is the truest
and cruelest of all enemies
The caretakers’ alacrity
softens to mush,
then nothing,
while under the care
of an apathetic people
And so the isolated
illusion never faced
any problem
until it became one
