H2O -- All I Need Scholarship Slam

H20

By Bethany Hughes

Water.

On a deserted island;

water would be necessary to drink,

to survive.

Water.

Flowing throughout my body,

through yours,

through his,

or--at least once it did.

Water.

Making up these beings,

human beings,

homosapians.

That cause us such immense emotions and empathy;

as well as fulfilment or loss.

Water.

Making up a large percentage of the thing I need most to survive.

And that H2O is found,

In those I love.
