Habit
How did I let this happen?
I want to be washed away of this bad habit.
I'm prone to pushing the people I care about away;
I watched my mother do it to everyone around,
Searching for herself in places she could never be found..
And I'm bound to make the same mistakes.
Holding on to her karma,
Wrapping bandages around her cuts and bruises,
Egging on her drama,
Wondering if I'll ever find peace in the credits of her abuse.
