Habit

I have a habit

a really bad habit

habit of isolating myself

because depression is a cruel

a cruel and unforgiving punishment,

a punishment that turns into a sickness

a sickness with no fever

no rash

or a blood test

to send people around me scattering in concern.

its a sickness in which it just slowly erodes your mind

destroys it so much it looks insidious.

This poem makes me think about a person who is very depressed but doesn't want to talk to anyone about it because he doesn't really know how to explain what is wrong with him
