Hades On Earth

 If  I were a man not a god.

If death was not my purpose .

Would the end of life bring me fear,

if it  is not me that brings it here?

Would the darkness bring me light 

or would I drown in the dead man's tales?

Would i appreciate time well spent 

or regret the fact I lived it here ?

Would I live a life of gratitude 

or be trapped by humanities jaws?

Swallowed whole by greed and gluttony .

 If I were a man not god.

I can only wonder at the thought.

Would I be better off?
