Haibun

Wafts of memory...college days. No-cars-on-campus Miami years. Rare escape, hot rodding it toward Hueston Woods Lake. A sun-just-stretching-its-legs, hoping to be spring. A hand-me-down student jalopy, all windows rolled down, wind racing opposite direction...with buds Jean and Barb, hair streaming in the breeze, shout-singing Mother-In-Law to the radio-blasted song.

the wind untamed

rollicking roughshod because it can

it's free!
