haiku

Heart of solitude

mountains of fresh almonds that taste of

tears that are the dew

on grass at sunrise

love is toughest to get yet easiest to break yet

marriage is a golden halo in the sky

an ocean like a tranquil sea of grass

a bottle of uncontained self

house of mind, body, heart and soul

heaven is a place of grace

like the moon is a hurtle in the sky

kiss of sorrow and regret

kiss of passion and excitement

cigarettes are the everlasting shadow in day and night

war is a pill of pain

the army is as distant as a drum roll

ropes of death ropes of life ropes of eternity
