Haley

Haley

Blonde hair and bright ambitions,

Green eyes and the best of intentions.

Driving back roads in a red jeep,

Reading books so late that I lose sleep.

Always in black converse and blue jeans,

My build has always been tall and lean.

Friday nights I conduct the band,

My smile bright from the top of the stand.

Always biting my fingernails,

My greatest fear is to fail.

My record player blares Joplin and The Rolling Stones,

My spirit is free and likes to roam.
