Half Full

Death to misery and hatred without reason.
Bring life to committing youthful treason.
Me and you, You and I, Us, We.
Happiness we can guarantee.
With you and I, laying in simplicity,
Feeling the silent electricity,
Finger tips and quivering lips,
Laughing about all of our slips.
Slipping from our half sober tongues,
And laughing just to empty our lungs.
Sipping from half full glasses.
Screw the masses, skipping classes.
Being different, and being happy.
Kiss and speak without being sappy.
Holy hell, the contradictions are to much!
But we dance around them, free from our crutch.
And she is here dancing with me,
Bound together, yet completely free.
And its my turn now, to step into the light.
But this time I’m taking you with me, away from the night.
