Halfway

I don't believe in a half way life

That life is a road left bitter with pain and strife
How can a soul dedicate itself to something so dear,
But immediately remove itself when it gets to near?
How is this possible?
We ask this all the time
But it is easy to believe you are right in your own life
My friend you are living a lie
Heck you're a living lie
Believing but not receiving
Grieving but not healing
Blessing but not forgiving
What is wrong with your halfway life?
Half of you can't be wrong and the other half right
Your torn apart
Understandable
Or is it?
Can't you tell?
That a halfway life is wholly meant for hell.
