Halloween?

Eerie time

Black, dark spirit.

Afraid

Entering the new time.

Leaving the

Lazy days of summer.

The moon shines

Upon dark curtains.

Gauzy clouds drift by.

Does evil lurk

Closely?

The unknown hides

nearby.

Unknown features

Ever darkening.

Children's fears,

Yet not fears,

lurking.

Celebrations?

New moon

Escapes.

Witches fly,

Bats, too.

Some things old

Some things new.

Winter's Eve.

Hallowed beliefs

True? False?

Who really knows?

Moving on

With no regrets.

Snow soon.

Beautiful Moon.

Eyes closing

In slumber.

Attuned.

Believe.

Conceive.

Leave.

Smiles.
