Halloween Night

Halloween night was a night of trick-or-treats.

The grass in my yard grew into long and thin, bright, red strips of liqurish, under the skittle struck sky.

The beautiful flowers in Ms. Peterson's garden slowly bloomed into jellybeans, bursting with flavor.

Leaves shook into chiclets, on a tree, like blowpops as far as I could see.

Rocks on the ground rolled into starbursts, and houses were filled with candy and screams.

Some roads turned into pop rocks, while others were slick as jolly ranchers

Cars flew into baberuths as fast as lightning, as I looked at the milkyway sky.

Like my tummy, the moon was full in the sky, and on Halloween night that's what I saw in my eyes.
