Halloween Sonnet

Dark and spooky clouds of gray,

                             sounds of crashing and popping

the sun no longer shines its rays,

everyone gets scared; now there are doors locking

                         Witches, ghost, werewolves and more,

all of them like to hear the cry

kids are scared to go to the door,

most of them scream "im going to die"

every year this time comes around,

there are so many terrible frights

everyone is running from the horrible sounds,

people are scared of what goes bump in the night

don't worry don't cry the night is almost over

just be sure to not stop looking over your shoulder
