The Halls

Everyone walks down the halls and think nothing about it.

These halls are a high way of students determind to reach their destinations.

All on a journey to create a brand new nation.

You can choose to stand and wait by the gate for that special someone, or

you can speed down the track because you're late.

These halls echo when you hear someone yell.

Telling you that you can't run in the hallways.

You walk confident even when you hear the one minute bell.

Maybe next time you'll go the other way

These halls fill with faces

Being able to watch someone trip on a rolling backpack

Makes me wheeze and hack.

everyone walking at different paces.

These halls bring me joy.

There's so much that goes on around us that we miss what's in front of us.

That's when you realize you missed the bus.
