Hallucinations in Black

Chunks of his face fall away.

Her figure of ash disintegrates.

Your breath is toxic.

Don't you see you're a killer?

Stay away.

Stay. Away.

They turn to stone that crushes their life.

You drag them through sludge that burns them the color of night.

Why do you insist on looking them in the eye?

Maniac.

Murderess.

The pain all belongs to you.

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Davenport, and I'm a college student who loves all things language, no matter what language it is! I'm probably reading, writing, or dancing in the rain right now. I'm a featured poet, Aura, on diesandnoctis.com (go check them out: they're great!), and use the names E.D., Elie Dav, and Elizabeth Davenport when posting my own.
