Hamlet Response
To write, or to not write this poem—
That is the question.
Whether it is honorable to do so,
And gain class credits and more;
Or to not, and suffer loss of responsibility and respect.
I would rather sleep, than write of Shakespeare
Who though a genius, is like an overplayed song that will not leave my head.
Whoever assigned this poem, and so expects it to be written,
To you I give this title—The Man.
And to you I ask,
Why would I write this poem, if I was not wary of the consequences of not doing so?
