Hamlet's Love Story

“O help him, sweet heavens!” -Ophelia You are my heaven You are my dream and my love You are the fire that burns inside of me The fire that keeps me alive. However, you are not my inspiration, Nor are you my savior. You can never save me For I am already gone. You might have understood me once But you no longer know me You could be what is still holding me down But you cannot keep me here, grounded forever. You will be glad to know, though, that I still know you And I still dream about you. I am the fire that burns in your heart And I am what you call love. I am the dream that helps you sleep soundly at night I am that happy thought that keeps you smiling. This will not last forever, because I must go. But I will always be your true love. While I am your love You are still, impossibly, my dream. You will always be my fire. However, you cannot save me. But I am still your dream, too. Somehow, how I do not know, You will always be my heaven.
