Hand Carriage


Vast seas of sweat 
Continents of grime
A world filled with regret 
Is it obligation, or crime?
Held in his hands, we watched the fire set 
Many long years, cared for all this time 
He grew tired, I would bet 
Carrying that burden, through his prime 
For that, we are forever in his deb
