Hand Scripture

A fingerprint in words,

Handwriting.

Days of perfecting out individuality in ebbs,

flows, lines, dashings, marks,ing,

imprinting our thoughts,

in ways that we can read,

a language we know to express.

Personal,

unique

masking

revealing,

whether heinous or graceful.

Dancing in ink, seeing what we leave behind.

Even when it fades,

it leaves behind a truth.

Our truth

your truth

MY truth.

MY fact or MY fiction.

MY language.

My mark left on the world.

My handwriting.
