A Handful of Seeds

To be left with only one thing,

And you ask me what it is I would most need.

It is important that this allows me to succeed,

In which case the only thing I believe,

Any person in their right mind would ever need,

Is a brain full of ideas-- like a handful of seeds.

But seeds themselves are never enough,

Although in all my seeds I have trust,

A field without any seeds that root--

-- will eventually turn to dust,

But if I do grow the seeds,

Daily from dawn until dusk,

Something inside tells me,

All I need is my brain full of ideas--

-- is a handful of seed.
