"Handle With Care"

She felt used.

Worn, tattered,

Left in the rain and the cold

Expected the worst.

"Love" was all she sought,

Found in fake friends and foul lovers,

Nothing was enough.

The toxic people joined forces for

the mightiest blow.

Tears and sobs faded into

Realization

They can have each other

Because love is not meant to torment

Love is not meant to tear down.

Love is meant to create.

Love is finding a broken package on the street,

Worn and tattered from the rain.

But treating it with kindness,

Heading its message:

Handle with care.
