HANDS
These are the hands of a troubled girl, lost in a world with a heart full of tears.
The hands of a scared girl too afraid to be herself.
These hands touched the unthinkable, and done the unthinkable.
Yes these hands!
These hands have tried to push the weight of an unwanted person before he took a gift that you can only give once.
Too bad these hands weren’t strong enough.
These hands have wiped more tears than one can count.
These hands have so many cuts and bruises but to the naked eye they are invisible,
Much like the person these hands belong to.
These Hands!
These hands protected the eyes of a child being exposed to some crazy things.
Protecting the eyes from smoking, shooting, sniffing of a drug that would temporarily claim the life of a person that meant the world……………….
These hands picked up blades and produced cut after cut to its owner causing pain like no other but that didn’t stop these hands from doing it again and again.
These hands caused pain to others so many times to try to eliminate the pain that was hindering inside.
These hands picked up alcohol to try and numb pain that has been there for years.
These hands belong to ME!
