Handwork Is Success

Every day we work Everyday we play Everyday is pain What more can I say The road to success is hard The roads are rough The hills are steep Disappointment is deep How do I reach my dreams? When I barely have time to sleep Long hours of my time To perfect my imperfections No time for mistakes Because there is no time For corrections Perfect practice makes perfect I just hope all of its worth it Who has time for play? When too busy working Success is up my valley So please fill me up with knowledge I work so hard hard in other areas Because my parents couldn’t save for college Debt, overdrew, rent Words I hear everyday Where is the money well spent? Now my pockets are hit Because I see a lot of dents I work hard for success Like America it’s my manifest destiny Work my fingers to the bone So you’re about to get the best of me.
