Hanging There

She was sitting in her room,

Thinking of her doom,

All the things she'd been called,

Did she matter at all?

They said that they were on her side,

Behind her back they lied,

They forced her to tie that rope,

Now she's lost all her hope,

With one motion she kicks her chair,

Then her mom is standing there,

Tear after team streams down her face,

Gone is the daughter she can't replace,

Her friends are filled with regret,

How can they pay this debt?

Their words did nothing but rip and tear,

And leave her hanging there.
