Happily Ever After
"You have to push" he said.
Gasping for air as it struggles to reach surface,
The vicious water does not discriminate against its victims and will not care of what it carries.
It can’t control the water anymore.
It’s too far in.
How did it get this far without noticing?
Nobody hears it crying for help.
The salty water is blinding and water rushes and scrapes the walls of the esophagus.
There is nothing it wishes more than to live and be strong but how much longer can it go?
The tide is too strong,
The waves too high.
The nighttime is spreading through as if wrapping its arms around the girl.
Yes, the night dies care for the girl.
The darkness will conceal her from all and hide her tears.
It will wrap its arms around her and take her anywhere she wishes.
It’s just the girl and the night unites as one.
They both become friends and live through eternity under the depths of the undiscriminating water.
And she lives happily ever after.
So I ask myself…”push myself for what?”
