Happily Ever Afters

Happily ever after doesn't mean the end has come.

All it means to you and me is that this book is done,

So get another story and we'll read it all day long

Because happily ever after doesn't mean the end has come.

And happily ever after isn't ever after true.

All it is to you and me is that this book is through.

Little Red Riding Hood changed her hood to gray.

Now she lives in sorrow all the live long day.

The Three Little Pigs were eaten by the Wolf.

He's big and bad and all he left was one little hoof.

Happily ever after doesn't mean the end is near;

What it's hiding from you and me is that there's more to share.
