Happily Never After

Remember the old Disney movies Where it ends happily ever after Where there’s butterflies, dancing And songs filled with laughter Where a damsel in distress Is saved from a high tower And then her and the prince Fall in love in little over an hour Or maybe an evil step mother And two ugly step sisters Make a pretty girl scrub the House till she has blisters But in the end She’ll be saved and it’ll be great Cause she was always destined To a better then average fate Or how about this one One girl and seven little men Whoever came up with that story Was a great comedian Get this Some girl sleeps for 100 years Then a hot guy kisses her? Now that one gave me nightmares And there’s so many more Princes, swords, laughter But it’s a fairy tale If it ends in happily ever after But it’s not like that Cause Disney has it wrong People don’t fall in love Just because they know the same song High school sweethearts Since freshman year Got the dream life And then one to many beers Now they have a baby Coming far to soon They haven’t got the time Or any room Now she can’t get a job And his college washed away His parents are ashamed Don’t know what to say Wants to sell the baby To the highest bid Lets make it a fairy tale Happily ever after kid. Been married for 20 years Got a big house by the lake Its her boy’s 6th birthday And she’s bringing out the cake She can’t find her husband He’s no where to be found She runs back in the house To hear that dreadful sound Her sisters laugh Echoed by his voice There in her room She doesn't have a choice When everyone leaves And the parties over She walks in And slaps her lover Packs her bags and is in the car Sill can hear her laughter How’s that For a happily ever after What about the ugly step sisters What about the ogres and witches What about the sorcerers And teenage…snitches Why can’t they be happy? Why does their life suck? I say we run over the princesses With a big old pick up truck It’s not fair That they have it all When I found out my boyfriend Has been cheating on me everyday at the mall I thought princes had one princess Not three Why does Cinderella Get one and not me Why is it that I always End up with a broken heart I’m sick of being the ugly stepsister I want the princesses part I’m sick of being used Tired of being played I thought that they didn’t leave That a prince always stayed So what now? Some once upon a time this is My hearts broken But of course not his I guess I’ll just wait in my tower Till my prince sets my heart free With a carton of chocolate frosting My Disney movies and me. My revenge is simple I watch till it’s almost over Then I stop the dumb movie So the prince never gets his lover So he always feels lost And can never break a heart Cause I never ever ever Let it get to that part I just sit back Let the room fill with my laughter That’s what I call a Happily ever after.
