Happiness

Happiness is full of smiles, It’s jumping over puddles, With slippers, And fries. It’s about spending time with family, Talking and laughing, Because laughing, Leaves you with a smile, It’s usually when you’re with friends of family, Or just got done jumping over a puddle, Maybe it’s even eating the best fries, While wearing favorite slippers, Because slippers Are so cute and funny they’ll leave anyone laughing, Like they've had a bunch of fries, So they’ll always keep their smiles, As if they’d fallen in puddles, These people make you happy because their family.

My names Areli, i enjoy writing poetry for fun. i recently started adding my poetry on here. I'm not the kind of person that like to share stuff like this, it gets personal at times. I honestly don't know why i decided to get my poems on here, i guess i just want some feedback. I'm only 17 and i hope i get a career where i can do what i love to do. Maybe even write a book.

Simple, but very cute. It's interesting you added fries apart of that moment of happiness. I like fries too! What else makes you happy? Add more to your poem extending this idea of happiness.
