Happiness

Happiness is the son and the daughter of perspective

They run and leap on warm summer days

When the storm comes one may hide and sulk

The other may splash in puddles,

wild with laughter.

Happiness lies on the shore,

Coming and going with each change of tide.

Lapping against the sand,

It's fierce and it is gentle,

its loud and it is quiet.
