Happiness

Happiness is a misconception

It is believed that it can be found.

It is believed that anyone can have it.

Happiness is a formality.

They tell you smile, be happy.

And you happily comply.

Without warning you do so.

You try to smile through the pain.

Unbeknownst to you, in completing this action a smile is what you turn to every time you feel sadness coming.

A smile.

The master of disguise.

The one thing that will never truly make you happy.
